In Somalia, the United Nation World Food Programme is delivering life-saving assistance to more people than ever before, reaching 3.7 million people with relief and over 300,000 with nutrition support - but famine is now an imminent reality unless immediate and drastic action is taken.

With an estimated 700 million persons with disabilities residing in this region, WFP is pioneering numerous new disability inclusion initiatives that underline the principle of 'leaving no one behind'. The Climate Services and Diversification of Climate-Sensitive Livelihoods project aims to support 102,000 individuals from 2022 to 2025.
