Annual Country Reports (ACRs) are key, annual accountability documents produced by country offices. They inform donors how their funds were used during the reporting year. They describe WFP’s performance story in an accurate, transparent and evidence-based manner, by assessing the effectiveness, efficiency and economy of our operations in the pursuit of zero hunger.

The ACRs fulfil a contractual agreement with donors and contribute to WFP’s annual corporate statistics and Annual Performance Report. The reports serve as a repository of institutional knowledge and are a key source of information for evaluations. The availability and quality of output and outcome data directly influences the evaluation conclusions on WFP interventions. ACRs thereby contribute to both objectives of "accountability" and "learning".
