The joint assessment of food security, livelihoods and early recovery is a sample survey of more than 4,000 households in 11 earthquake-affected districts in Nepal conducted in September-October 2015. The UNHCR/WFP Joint Assessment Mission (JAM) 2015 for Malian refugees in Mauritania was carried out from 31 August to 7 September 2015 in Mberra refugee camp and four key host communities with the participation of nine key partners.

The Joint Assessment Mission (JAM) was conducted over the period from February until June 2014 with the aim of obtaining a better understanding of the situation, needs, risks, capacities and vulnerabilities of asylum seekers and refugees with regards to their food and nutrition security as well as livelihood opportunities, and providing recommendations for the next 6 to 12 months.
