The FAO Food Price Index remained stable in October 2022 compared to the previous month – but global wheat, maize and rice prices were on the rise again amidst renewed uncertainties around the Black Sea Grain Initiative. In Cambodia, the cost of the basic food basket (BFB) increased by +7.0 percent compared to Sept’22 and now stands at US$28.4 per capita/month.
