The evaluation covers the Myanmar Protracted Relief and Recovery Operation 200299 "Supporting Transition by Reducing Food Insecurity and Undernutrition among the Most Vulnerable". It was intended for both accountability and learning and focuses on assessing: i) the appropriateness and coherence of the operation; ii) its results; and iii) the factors explaining the results.
The evaluation assessed the following activities: 1) relief assistance; 2) food assistance for assets (FFA); 3) nutrition support to women, children and HIV/TB patients; 3) school feeding (SF) and 4) capacity strengthening.
The evaluation, which makes a number of recommendations for the future, was managed and conducted by a consultancy firm, with fieldwork taking place in August-September 2016.
