The independent operation evaluation of Lesotho Country Programme (CP 200369) 2013-2017 covered the three components namely Enhancing Resilience and Responsiveness through Disaster Risk Reduction; Support for Pre-School Education; and Support for Nutrition and HIV.
It was intended for both accountability and learning and focuses on assessing: i) the appropriateness and coherence of the operation; ii) its results; and iii) the factors explaining the results.
The evaluation, makes a number of operational and strategic recommendations which will inform decision making for the remaining period of the CP, as well as for the future. It was managed and conducted by a consultancy firm, with fieldwork taking place in May 2015.
