The current situation in Palestine
Humanitarian conditions in Gaza are critical following a sharp upsurge in violence in the region in early October 2023, with 96 percent of the population facing acute food insecurity. Food and water are running out, shelters for displaced people are massively overcrowded and, without fuel, there is no electricity. Health services are collapsing. In the West Bank also, conditions are deteriorating, and food is running short.
The risk of famine is increasing with each passing day as the current conflict in Palestine continues. Your donations to Palestine are needed now more than ever.

As the security situation allows, UN WFP is working to provide multiple types of food assistance to vulnerable families. Your donations will help our humanitarian staff and partners on the ground provide:
- Ready-to-eat food parcels
- Clean water
- Support to community kitchens to provide hot meals to families who have been displaced multiple times
- Support to bakeries to make and distribute bread
- Food and nutrition support for pregnant and breastfeeding women, and children under 5
Our work is 100% voluntarily funded and every donation counts. Your donations allow us to work closely with community kitchens and ensure food supply chains are in place, so that hunger is minimalised as much as possible.
