A gift in your Will: hope for hungry families
When you remember the UN World Food Programme (WFP) in your will, you leave a gift that could help provide the life-saving food for a child or a family caught up in unimaginable crisis.
Your gift
No one in the world should go hungry. But, for many people, life is a constant struggle and an emergency or conflict can destroy everything they have worked for – leaving them with nothing.
Set up in 1961, WFP has become the world’s largest humanitarian agency, working with UN partners to provide a vital safety net for humanity.
On any given day, WFP has 5,000 trucks, 20 ships and 132 aircraft on the move, delivering emergency food and other support as part of a global footprint that spans over 120 countries and territories.
With a gift in your Will, you can play a part in bringing about real change both for individuals and the wider world. It’s a gift that has no impact on your finances today but provides hope for tomorrow. Whatever gift you’re able to leave – whether you consider it big or small – it has the potential to save and change a child’s life. So please, whether you can save one life or many, consider remembering WFP in your Will.
We’ve put together some information to help you move forward.
