The study is commissioned by the WFP Country Office Bangladesh (WFP CO) and assesses the baseline situation during the period January 2021- March 2021 for the FY2020-2023 grant (henceforth referred to as FY20). The study was scheduled during the period August 2021– December 2021.
The results showed that 23 percent of households were food insecure, with higher levels of food insecurity among FLSEBP beneficiaries. The poverty rate increased in 2022, with a high percentage of poor households among FLSEBP beneficiaries.
