The contribution, received last September, supported the provision of food assistance to 53,110 Syrian refugees, nearly half the population living in Zaatari and Azraq camps during the months of October, November and December 2022.

Starting in August, Syrian refugees in the camps will receive a reduced cash allowance of US$21 (JOD 15) per person per month, down from the previous amount of US$32 (JOD 23).
