The food security analysis found that recurrence of food insecurity was highest in the north-western districts Binga (Matabeleland North) and Kariba (Mashonaland West) while most of the districts falling along the southern perimeter of the country experience medium levels of recurrence. Central areas of the country general had low levels of recurrence of food insecurity among 20% or more of the population.
