Priorities and implications for future WFP engagement are identified in this corporate policy document and include providing technical support and practical expertise for safety nets; ensuring that food and nutrition security objectives are embedded in safety nets; supporting governments in building systems of safety nets; helping to strengthen institutional mechanisms; ensuring that social protection and safety nets are informed by solid and context-specific evidence; forging strategic partnerships; mobilizing resources; and strengthening internal decision-making.
