The school feeding recipe book includes more than 65 different school meals made from locally sourced agricultural produce, grown, and raised in each of Timor-Leste’s 13 municipalities.
Developed by a team of four government ministries, with support from WFP and Agora Food Studios, the school feeding recipes have been analyzed to make sure they provide carbohydrates for energy, protein for growth, and essential vitamins and minerals for cognitive development.
