WFP has been working with the Government and local authorities to help implement the National School Nutrition Reform, initiated by the First Lady, which aims to provide every child with daily nutritious meals.
WFP provides advance payments for school meals through the Ministry of Education and Science (MoES) to selected municipalities (hromadas). This funding helps cover the cost of school meals or improve their nutritional value.
