Trend Analysis 2012-2014 is an update of its 2012 edition. It seeks to further develop the humanitarian community’s understanding of the frequency with which shocks occur in certain areas and which communities and areas are most at risk. This information will contribute to identifying the most appropriate types of assistance including when to focus on emergency assistance and when to invest in resilience programmes.
