The objective of this evaluation was to analyze the current situation of food and nutritional security of migrant populations and host communities.
Between June and August 2022, the World Food Programme completed the evaluation and conducted a total of 7,097 household and travel group surveys, ensuring representative samples for five population groups: i) Venezuelan migrants with a vocation for permanence, ii) migrants Venezuelans in transit, iii) commuting Venezuelan migrants, iv) Colombian returnees and v) host communities. These surveys were carried out in 13 departments and 45 municipalities with a high concentration of Venezuelan migrants.
