By 2030, over 3 billion people are expected to live in areas with high vulnerability to climate change. In fragile and conflict-affected settings, extreme weather events affect three times as many people annually, compared to other countries. Despite this, people living in fragile states receive 80 times less climate finance compared to those in non-fragile states.
To tackle hunger, we must urgently accelerate climate protection efforts in the world’s most vulnerable areas. Because we cannot end hunger without addressing climate change.
